Control4 posted a video of a very nice residential automation installation. I think it makes a great introductory primer that shows a small sampling of what a Control4 system can offer.

“When these homeowners wanted to add smart home functionality to an existing home, they turned to an integrator. The integrator presented Control4 as both a feature rich and affordable solution. Now this family has a single-remote experience to manage all the different systems in their home, including integrated audio, video, lighting, heating and air conditioning and security controls.”

    Hi folks!

Welcome to the newly launched Home Control Blog, brought to you by the good people at Verge Technology (Link).

Being in this business, we get asked technical questions every day. It’s a young technology and, understandably, we meet a lot of curious people who are unfamiliar with the amazing options and newest developments in home automation.

That’s where this site comes in. We’re going to use this platform to post information about what, exactly, all of these products can do. We’ll share reviews, instructional videos and anything else we can think of that will simplify and engage people in this blossoming world of home automation.

We’d love to hear from our readers. Have a suggestion for a feature or product you’d like us to talk about? Let us know! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to post feedback or get in touch with us via e-mail. We do reserve the right to edit any comments at our discretion (they’d need to be blatantly inappropriate) but otherwise, go nuts!
